Injective is excited to announce a strategic collaboration with Orion Protocol, a decentralized platform that aggregates the liquidity, order book depth, and trade pairs from every centralized and decentralized digital asset market.
Through this collaboration, traders will be empowered to access cross-chain trading across a wide array of digital assets and derivatives as an inaugural broker on Orion’s network. In addition, the Injective community plans to explore innovative cross-chain and bridge solutions alongside the Orion team.
As an inaugural broker, Injective plans to be the first liquidity provider of decentralized derivatives on Orion’s aggregated book orders. Looking into the future, this collaboration will bring forth even more opportunities for both Orion and Injective. By partnering with Injective, Orion will be able to offer derivatives within their trading terminal and swap platform for users to trade traditional digital assets, exotics as well as other derivatives. Furthermore, Orion will be able to leverage our cross-chain and bridge solutions to further improve user experience when trading across distinct layer one protocols.
Injective will be able to use the platform built by Orion to reach new cohorts of traders. Additionally, this collaboration enhances the vision and goal of bringing forth a truly decentralized and scalable derivatives exchange. Not only will this open doors for ORN users, but it will also allow Orion to access new users globally and further improve user experience, bringing forward a faster adoption of Orion’s tech stack.
“We are really excited to join forces with Injective in our common mission of building decentralized technologies for a more inclusive & free financial system that benefits every internet user. Our collaboration will further accelerate growth for the ORN and bring more adoption for our technology stack,” said Alexey Koloskov, Orion Protocol CEO.
Injective will provide Orion users access to a decentralized derivatives platform and Orion will improve Injective’s user experience by giving users access to their cross-chain derivatives. As a result, this partnership will benefit the rapidly growing DeFi industry as a whole.
“Injective and Orion share a common mission of expanding DeFi networks globally while breaking down current financial barriers. We are excited to partner with Orion as it enables us to expand one of Injective’s core use cases around cross-chain derivatives to new user bases,” said Eric Chen, Injective CEO.
This collaboration is an important step for Injective as its platform continues to bring new tokens, technologies, and partners to its decentralized derivatives exchange. As the core visions of both Orion and Injective align greatly, collaborating together will bring forward a more secure, flexible, and user-friendly experience to the DeFi space.
Injective is the first cross-chain protocol built for decentralized finance applications. On the Injective exchange, anyone can access, create, and trade unlimited DeFi markets such as futures and perpetuals. Developers can also build cross-chain Ethereum-compatible projects that are lightning fast and achieve instant transaction finality. Injective is backed by a prominent group of stakeholders including Binance, Pantera Capital and Mark Cuban.
